Summary:
Take your child on a modern, colourful, and thought-provoking adventure deep into the magical — and sometimes dangerous — corners of the digital world.
The Screen Spirit’s Lesson follows your child who loves his tablet a little more than what is good for him. Games, videos, and endless “just five more minutes” fill his days — until one night, when the blue glow finally awakens the Screen Genie and pulls him straight into a pixel-filled city of apps, icons, and flashing notifications.
Inside this strange new world, the hero meets both wonder and worry:
Towering screens tempt him with endless content, his hands start scrolling on their own, cyberbullying rains down as red, stinging messages, and a fake online character tries to trick him into clicking something dangerous. Even his body begins to feel weak and heavy from sitting still far too long.
With the Screen Genie as his guide, the main character discovers the truth behind the glowing screens. He learns why breaks, friendships, movement, and real-world experiences matter — and why living only inside a screen slowly makes the world around you fade away. A shimmering mirror shows him everything he has missed, and for the first time, he longs for sunlight, fresh air, and his friends outside.
As the digital world begins to crack and collapse around him, {NAME} must make a choice: stay trapped in endless screen time or return home to a world filled with real life and real joy.
Beautifully illustrated with vibrant colours, futuristic environments, and relatable moments, The Screen Spirit’s Lesson becomes an exciting, heartfelt, and meaningful story about finding balance in a world full of screens. A modern tale that speaks directly to children’s everyday lives — and gives families a natural starting point for important conversations about screen time.
Perfect for children aged 6–12, ideal for bedtime reading or independent reading.
A story that leaves a lasting impression — and reminds children that the real world is always waiting just outside the door.
This story gives children a powerful and modern understanding of the digital world through a magical, exciting, and emotionally engaging adventure that turns learning into experience:
✔ Makes screen time tangible and relatable:
When the hero becomes trapped in games, notifications, and endless scrolling, children instantly understand why balance and breaks are important — without feeling lectured or judged.
✔ Builds digital awareness and critical thinking:
The encounter with the fake online character clearly shows what children need to watch out for on the internet. The story teaches them to think before they click and to stay safe online.
✔ Creates empathy around online behaviour:
The moment of cyberbullying demonstrates how hurtful online words can be — even when they come from strangers. It helps children understand kindness, empathy, and responsibility in digital spaces.
✔ Encourages movement and healthy habits:
When the hero feels the consequences of sitting still for too long, it naturally inspires children to play outside, move their bodies, and enjoy the real world beyond the screen.
The Screen Spirit’s Lesson uses vivid illustrations, relatable challenges, and a thrilling digital adventure to teach children about balance, safety, and healthy habits in a modern age. A story that leaves kids with confidence, awareness, and a desire to live fully in both worlds — the digital and the real one.
